S/N is the lifestyle product made by Nousaku Inc. in Takaoka, where they have a 400 year old history of manufacturing brassware. It is designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto of Tortoise (Venice, California). Brassware has been used as religious equipment in Asia and today the material is also chosen for modern lifestyle products, such as interior or tableware. “Aging” is one of the characteristics of brassware and it is well accepted and has been liked among the Japanese for a long time.
